Frequently Asked Questions

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

My practice is fully cash-based, therefore I do not accept insurance at this time. HOWEVER, I can provide a superbill at the end of each visit if you wish a submit a claim to insurance. A credit card is required at the time of booking but will not be charged until the end of our visit. You may use HSA cards in place of credit cards. Full payment is expected at the time of visit.

Any labs and imaging that I order may be covered by insurance. I can provide you with a list of ICD-10 codes that I use when ordering labs. I recommend calling your insurance carrier to confirm coverage by a naturopathic provider.

WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?

Please refer to the Services page and scroll down to see individual visit pricing.

Note that any labs and imaging ordered are NOT included in the visit price. These may or may not be covered by insurance, depending on your carrier.

CAN YOU BE MY PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER (PCP)?

No. In the state of Connecticut, naturopathic physicians are considered specialists, and therefore I cannot be your PCP. I recommend you still see your PCP for annual checkups, but I would more than happy to be your regular provider while we are working together in treating the root cause of your concerns. While working together, I will always keep your overall health as my top priority and if I believe you need to see a PCP or other medical provider, I will recommend one.

I do require any children under the age of 18 to see their PCP annually in order to work with me.

CAN YOU PRESCRIBE MEDICATIONS?

In the state of Connecticut, naturopathic physicians are not allowed to prescribe medications. I hope to be able to treat the underlying cause of your concerns through naturopathic modalities, however, if I believe you need a prescription, I can refer you to another provider.

Please submit any other questions through the contact me page. Thank you!
